Men of Business working with the youth in the community.M.O.B. was conceived by a group of 20 influential Gold Coast businessmen who came together to discuss life’s fundamentals e.g. balance, family, truth, communication, purpose and passion, inner strength and emotion.

From this came the aim to build a mentoring program for young males that are at risk in conjunction with SCISCO Career Pathways.

The program is highly energetic and interactive and consists of physical exercises where the boys are expected to push themselves physically. This is constantly linked back to emotional and social skills.

The program offers a journey to manhood and assist boys to become aware of purpose and motivation in their life.

Animal Welfare League caring for animals in the South East community. The Animal Welfare League of Queensland was established in Southport on the Gold Coast in 1959 and has been in continuous operation for 55 years caring for animals from all of south east Queensland’s communities.

The AWLQ operates re-homing centres on the Gold Coast, Beenleigh and Ipswich and cares for up to 10,000 stray, abandoned and surrendered animals every year.

As well as a high focus on rehoming, the AWLQ continues to increase community awareness about how to end the tragedy of pet overpopulation. Our goal is to bring an end to the euthanasia of healthy animals in Australia through legislative changes, education and awareness.

Bravehearts and Superior helping with projects in Queensland.Hetty Johnston founded White Balloon Day in Brisbane during Child Protection Week, September 1997.

With the support of her family, Hetty decided that the time had come to change the culture of silence that has, for too long, aided and abetted the assault and torture of our most vulnerable members of society, our children.

Bravehearts’ members comprise survivors, parents, friends, partners, professionals and non-abusive members of the community who share in the belief that child sexual assault must stop.

Bravehearts aims to ‘Break the Silence’, provide healing and support, engender child sexual assault prevention and protection strategies; advocate for understanding and promote increased education and research.

Superior Walls & Ceilings assisted Bravehearts by donating time and resources to complete the interior fitout of their new Gold Coast offices.

Dreamworkers and Superior group assisting the community.Commencing its operation in 2005, Dream Workers is an organisation run exclusively by volunteers who help to raise funds for individuals and charities on the Gold Coast.

Dream Workers help individuals and charities to achieve their goals by financially assisting them and provide a voice for those in need who may not otherwise have one.

Everybody is carefully assessed for their needs and how donations will be utilised.

Superior Walls & Ceilings recently assisted a family in need by renovating their bathroom for their 14 year old daughter who suffers from muscular dystrophy.
